Inter-Rater Reliability to the Assessment of Ramus Relationship of Mandibular Impacted Third Molar Among Denitsts: An Orthopantomographic Study

Objective: To find the inter-rater reliability to assessment of ramus relationship mandibular impacted third molar among denitsts. Methodology: A cross sectional comparative study was conducted in College Dentistry, Sharif Medical and Dental College, Lahore after obtaining ethical clearance from committee Research Centre (SMRC) which dentists three different specialties namely; Oral Pathology, Endodontics Prosthodontics were included as raters. The December 2020 February 2021. total 21 Orthopantomograms assigned each rater for assessing molar. classification angle impaction used Winter`s classification. raters provided with OPGs a proforma recording their observations. Results: level agreement regarding molars observed on between 1 2 fair (κ=0.366 ,p=0.022). also 3 (κ=0.300, p=0.094).
